Nvidia said she is planning to build servers worth $ 500 billion in the US in the next four years with help from partners such as TSMC, the latest US technology firm to support the trump administration for local production.
Monday’s announcement includes the production of its Blackwell chips at the TSMC factory in Phoenix, and the super -computer plants in Texas by Foxconn and Wistron that is expected to grow to 12 to 15 months.
The mass lines the chip giant, most of the processors of which have been made in Taiwan, with a flock of technology firms that have pledged to bring production back to the US amid the threats of steep tariffs by President Trump.

“It is unlikely that Nvidia would have moved any production in the US if it were not for pressure from the Trump administration,” said Da Davidson Gil Luria analyst.
“Half trillion is likely hyperbole, in the same way Apple made a semi-trillion promise.”
Apple, who collects most of its iPhone in China, in February promised half trillion in US investments in the next four years, including a text in Texas for artificial intelligence servers.
The Nvidia announcement comes just hours after the electronics excluded from the US like intelligent phones and chips from its reciprocal tariffs in China, but said it would notify the rate of tariffs on imported chips over the next week.
The exceptions show a growing awareness within Trump’s pain management that tariffs can cause tired consumers of inflation, as well as the flowering industry of one based on chip -related tools from China and Taiwan.

“Adding American production helps us to better meet the extraordinary and growing demand for the chips he and the super computers, strengthens our supply chain and increases our resistance,” Nvidia Jensen Huang said Monday.
The production of chips and supercomputers in the US will create hundreds of thousands of jobs in the next decades, Nvidia said.
“The reason they did it is due to the elections on November 5, and because of the item called the tariff,” Trump said in the Nvidia announcement during a conference in the White House.
Huang in March had said that Nvidia sees little short -term impact from the highest US tariffs, but would move production to the US in the longer term without giving a deadline.
The company said on Monday TSMC started producing its latest generation of chips at its factory in Arizona.
